Qi Gong means cultivation of qi, or life energy. The term Qi Gong refers to exercises that generate qi, as well as the application of techniques that use qi to harmonize the body. By passively holding various regions of the patient’s body, we as practitioners can use our qi to balance a patient’s qi and bring about positive change without the invasiveness of acupuncture or Chinese herbs.
Qi Gong Exercises
Qi Gong Exercises improve the lives of those who practice them. Enabling people to take responsibility for their well beings is an important aspect of our approach at the Shen Dao Clinic. In addition to offering classes, one or two exercises are often incorporated into treatments so patients can use them between session to maintain positive changes resulting from treatment and to further their progress.
